Standing Stone Gravel Ltd. (SSGL) owns a 320 acre gravel pit near Cochrane, Alberta which has over 22 million tonnes of gravel and market ready timber.
We retained Doctor Roger Morton from the U of A to put his most conservative numbers to the amount of gravel on the site. We have also negotiated a deal with a mid tier gravel company, JLG Ball Enterprises from Boyle Alberta, to drill the property on our behalf.
Investment opportunities are available within this extremely lucrative development. This is a long term, inter-generational investment with annual dividends projected to generate an average Return On Investment (ROI) of 18%.
The Rocky View and Calgary area uses 10 tonnes per person per year in urban areas and 20 tonnes per person in rural areas. That totals up to be 11 million tonnes per year which includes aggregates used in concrete and asphalt.
Consumers will demand about 760 million tonnes during next 50 years – compared to 200 million in approved pits. Where will this additional 560 million tonnes come from?
With Standing Stone Gravel we are helping to meet the demonstrated market demand.
